Russell Eugene (Gene) Campbell 1929 - 2009

Russell Eugene (Gene) Campbell was born on June 13, 1929, at home in Foster, MO near New Home and died in Nevada, MO on December 2, 2009. His parents, Emery and Clara Mae (Wolfenbarger) Campbell; grandparents, James and Alice Wolfenbarger (who raised him); brother, James Emery (Buddy) Campbell; and two infant sons: Russell Dale and Stephen Ray all preceded him in death.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Michael Manz officiating. Visitation was held from 6-8:00 p.m. on December 4, 2009, at Schowengerdt Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Rich Hill Methodist Church, Prairie City Zion Lutheran Church or Rich Hill Lions Club.
