Melvin “JR” Wendleton, age 79, of the Ballard Community died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at his home near Ballard. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Eldon Allen officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions may be made to the Mount Olivet Church.
