Ivan Eugene “Gene” Yarnell, age 85 of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of the Ballard, Missouri community, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 in the Maples at Har-Ber Meadows Nursing Home in Springdale. Funeral services were Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Temple Baptist Church in Erie, Kansas with Pastor Frank Thomas officiating. Burial in East Hill Cemetery, Erie, Kansas. Visitation was held Friday, April 11, 7-8 p.m. at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri. Contributions may be made to the Temple Baptist Church.
