Flossie Fritts Lankford 1917 - 2009

Flossie Fritts Lankford-McDonald, 92, of St. Peters, Missouri, died December 12, 2009. She was born February 25, 1917 to John W. and Edna LaFollette-Fritts at Amsterdam, Missouri, where she attended the Liberty grade school and graduated from Amsterdam High School.

A private memorial service will be held in Flossie’s hometown of Butler, Missouri. The family requests that any thoughtfulness by friends or family be a contribution to the charity of their choice or to the Julie Silver Scholarship Fund, a fund that awards financial assistance to a gifted athlete and scholar from Paola, Kansas, for their pursuit of a college education.
