Edward Eugene Newport 1947 - 2010

Edward Eugene “Wilson” Newport, 62 of Adrian, MO passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 surrounded by his family and close friends. Edward was born November 29, 1947 in Nevada, MO, the son of Charles Wilson, Nadine Harris and Chester Newport.

Contributions may be made to Cub Scout Pack 238 and Boy Scout Troop 238 of Adrian, c/o Atkinson Funeral Home, Adrian. Services were held Monday, August 30, 10:00 a.m. at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian, MO. Chaplain Mike Campbell of Crossroads Hospice, Kansas City, Missouri, officiated with interment in the Prescott Cemetery, Prescott, Kansas.
