Young entrepreneurs open up for business in Slatteryville


Mrs. Debbie Slattery’s Adrian 6th grade social studies students became industrious business owners in the city of Slatteryville. While in the planning and designing phase of this project, the students learned about cost and expenses versus income and making a profit. They learned about borrowing money and repaying loans.

Friends are invited to help celebrate Mary Jo Lovelace’s 90th birthday at an Open House from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29th at the Fellowship Hall of Victory Assembly of God Church, Adrian. AHS Class of 1949 enjoys get together


The Adrian High School Class of 1949 holds an annual get together on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. They met Thursday, November 20 at 11:00 at Wimfields on Main. There were 11 of the 20 classmates living that attended. Also attending were 3 spouses, Sylvia Cummins, Jim Boyer, and Frank Anderson, 2 former classmates, Leonard Hunholz and Betty Jenkins, and 1 guest Charlie Gutshall. Veterans served


Veterans fill their plates during a breakfast that was served by the Adrian FCCLA for veterans and first responders on Veterans Day Tuesday, November 11 at the Adrian School.

Operation Christmas Child


The Adrian Christian Church “RUSH” group, which includes middle and high school students, collected over 140 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The boxes were shipped last week.
