Walking Books is coming to Adrian Community Library
The Walking Books program was developed by the Adrian Community Library. Walking Books is a program designed to get books to people 18 years or older, who are unable to get to the library, whether it be a permanent or short-term situation. Books are checked out for a period of four weeks and are not subject to overdue fines. A “walker” will deliver new books and return the checked out items back to the library once a month. If a walking books patron has a friend or family member who is willing to act as the “go between”, that’s fine, or the library will provide the “walker”.
