The American Red Cross Bloodmobile collected 44 units of blood on Tuesday, May 7. Eight other donors were deferred for minor reasons. Very good day with the weather so pretty for working outside.
The next bloodmobile will be July 9, 2013 at the Adrian Optimist Building. Take care of yourselves and we will see you then.
The Walking Books program was developed by the Adrian Community Library. Walking Books is a program designed to get books to people 18 years or older, who are unable to get to the library, whether it be a permanent or short-term situation. Books are checked out for a period of four weeks and are not subject to overdue fines. A “walker” will deliver new books and return the checked out items back to the library once a month. If a walking books patron has a friend or family member who is willing to act as the “go between”, that’s fine, or the library will provide the “walker”.
