Archie boil order lifted

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has lifted the boil water order for the City of Archie, Public Water System ID #MO1010024, located in Cass County, Missouri. Department officials lifted the boil order on March 27, 2008 after test results from water samples collected on March 25 and March 26 showed that water was bacteriological safe to drink and within normal operational parameters.

Department officials had declared the boil order on March 21 so the City of Archie could make emergency repairs at the water treatment facility. As a part of these repairs, the City of Archie had to bypass part of their treatment processes. The repairs to the treatment facility have now been completed, and the water treatment facility has returned to normal operation.
