Congrats Lady Blackhawks, Second in District

The Lady Blackhawks began District Tournament play in Osceola Tuesday night, taking on the Lady Bulldogs of Appleton City. Adrian started out at a strong scoring pace early in the game and continued through to halftime in the same manner, heading to the locker room with a 29-9 lead over Appleton City. It was more of the same thing the second half as the scoring continued and strong defense kept the Bulldogs down, causing turnovers and missed shots. The final score came out in favor of Adrian 55-16.

Thursday night the Blackhawks met Marion C. Early of Morrisville in the semifinal match. The Lady Blackhawks played smart defense and came away with the win by a score of 57-54, sending them into the finals on Saturday night against the Osceola Indians.

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks took on the Osceola Indians in front of a packed house Saturday night, for the finals in the District Tournament held in Osceola. Adrian came out on the short end, losing the contest by a score of 74-56.
