Men charged in connection with meth lab discovery
Lyle Scott Jennings, who was arrested on November 25, 2007 in connection with an active methamphetamine lab in Butler, was charged last week in the Circuit Court of Bates County on several counts, including felony assault on a law enforcement officer, felony endangering the welfare of a child, felony possession of a controlled substance - marijuana and felony manufacturing of a controlled substance - methamphetamines. According to Diana Rich, Bates County Circuit Clerk, Jennings was bound over to Circuit Court and has a tentative court date on April 21, 2008.
Jared E. Webb, also arrested on November 25 in the same incident, was charged with felony possession of a chemical with intent to create a controlled substance - methamphetamines, felony assault on a law enforcement officer, felony child endangerment, felony possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamines and felony manufacturing of a controlled substance, with a tentative court date on March 17, 2008.
