Wyatt Jackson places 3rd at State wrestling

Six Adrian Blackhawk wrestlers participated in the State wrestling championships last weekend at Columbia. Two time state qualifier, senior Wyatt Jackson was the only Blackhawk to medal. He went 4 and 1 and received third place. Others participating in the state meet were Brandt McMillan, Jacob O’Connor, Coty McDonald, Luke Hough and Matthew Tallman.

Results were:

140 Luke Hough 2-2
145 Matthew Tallman 1-2
215 Wyatt Jackson 4-1 3rd place

Wyatt Jackson defeated Ethan Tabbert from Trenton 5-2 in the 3rd place match last Saturday at State.
