The Adrian Lady Blackhawks suffered two losses last week at the Midway Tournament to move their record to 16-4 overall.

Starting out the week in the tournament, Adrian took on the Barstow Lady Knights. Adrian ran the game as they started slow and finished with almost a thirty point victory, 62-33.

Moving on to the next round, Adrian was up against the Midway Lady Vikings. Having a hard time with the Vikings, Adrian didn’t find themselves in double digit quarter scoring until the final eight minutes. The Lady Blackhawks suffered a 38-44 loss to move them in to the third place challenge.

Looking for a third place finish, the Lady Blackhawks found themselves up against the Archie Lady Whirlwinds. Adrian had a tough time making their shots fall. First quarter action looked promising as they led the first eight minutes by two. Holding on for just a short time, Adrian fell behind to Archie and couldn’t pull off the win as they took the fourth place finish with a loss, 47-56 to Archie.
