Adrian third graders took a trip back in time at the Steamboat Arabia last Friday. They learned about the ship’s sinking in the Missouri River in 1856, with a full load of new supplies for the settlements along the Missouri River. The students viewed the world’s largest collection of frontier supplies from the Arabia that were discovered beneath a Kansas farm field in 1988.
Pictured are Mrs. Cogbill, Mrs. Schmidt and Mrs. Bruto’s third grade classes at the historic museum.
